I kept booking places that promised a jacuzzi. Half the time nobody said whether it was in the room, out on a patio, or downstairs in a shared hotel spa — and finding out at check-in kind of ruins the mood.

After enough of those trips, I stopped trusting vague “spa” filters. I started digging through photos and guest reviews myself — the boring homework you shouldn’t have to do on a Friday night.
